Free films to be shown in our little towns

ASPIRING pilots and locals are being invited to free Movies in the Halls events across the North Burnett.

The movies include Disney's Planes - a cropdusting plane with a fear of heights lives his dream of competing in a famous around-the-world aerial race - at 3pm.

At 6pm Paper Planes - an imaginative children's film about a young Australian boy's passion for flight and his challenge to compete in the World Paper Plane Championships in Japan - will screen.

The events will be held at halls at Mt Perry on July 25, Monto on August 1, Eidsvold on August 15, Biggenden on August 22, Gayndah on August 29 and Mundubbera on September 5.

The free events have funded through the Queensland Government's Community Drought Support Funding.
