Fraud sentence delivered
THE sentencing of a man who defrauded an elderly man of more than $11,000 continued in Bundaberg Magistrates Court today.
Anton Michael Janezic, 39, was given a head sentence of two years and six months for 13 charges of fraud and given varying sentences of one month to 18 months for charges ranging from driving unlicenced to stealing.
Magistrate Jennifer Batts declared 260 days served and ordered Janezic's parole release for March 8, 2011.
"Apart from your plea of guilty, there's very little other indication of remorse on your part," Ms Batts told the man.
