Four dead in horror highway crash
FOUR people are dead after a horrific highway smash north of Rockhampton.
Initial reports indicate a car and a prime mover were involved in the accident near The Caves.
The car finished up down an embankment.
The deceased are believed to have all been in the car at the time of the crash.
Witnesses at the scene say the car is not visible from the highway and is in long grass and scrubland.
They say the prime mover shows no visible signs of damage.
The Bruce Highway in both directions has been closed.
Motorists are urged to avoid the Etna Creek area, find alternate routes or delay travel where possible
