Floods reach 7m

UPDATE: THE Burnett River has peaked at 7m overnight in Bundaberg with more water on its way.

The river is expected to reach a height of 7.5m later today.

The Bureau of Meteorology expects the river levels to remain high until Friday.

Floodwaters in Mundubbera and Gayndah are slowing dropping.

In Mundubbera the water is sitting at 18.55m and in Gayndah floodwaters at a height of 15.25m.
