Seven News revealed the Mitchell bombshell earlier in the afternoon as wholesale changes were required.

Mitchell was one of the certainties for Origin in the early parts of the season but after a poor Origin game I, the Roosters star has suffered a stunning fall from grace.
Brad Fittler said the decision to drop Mitchell "was my hardest decision in coaching so far".
It has seen a huge shuffle in the side after plenty of injuries in a devastating weekend of action.
The weekend of chaos saw has seen Mitchell Pearce come in and then rule himself out of contention with James Maloney receiving a stunning Origin return.
Tom Trbojevic and Blake Ferguson have been called reinstated to the side with Jack Wighton set to start at centre.
Payne Haas has succombed to injury with and join David Klemmer and Nick Cotric on the sideline.
Haas played 64 minutes in Brisbane's 38-10 NRL defeat at Parramatta on Saturday but suffered a hamstring injury and won't play in next Sunday's clash in Perth.
The Storm's Dale Finucane, Tariq Sims and Wade Graham come onto a new look bench which Daniel Saifiti will take the spot of injured Knights teammate David Klemmer.

Speaking earlier today, Fittler told Channel 9's The Sunday Footy Show the player he selected need to deliver.
"I need to know the players that we're going to pick and what we're going to deliver," Fittler said.
"We were a bit wishy-washy in Queensland. Although we did only go down by four points, the things that made us great last year were the effort areas, we worked so hard for each other.
"We were down to 12 players last year twice and we just sort of fought through it. We didn't see it. We lacked that little bit of hunger.
"As a coach I need to be comfortable with the players that I picked are going to go out there and have that."
