Firearms licence and cash taken in car break-ins

POWER tools, a wallet containing cash and a firearms licence were among the items stolen during two separate car break-ins.

Police say entry was gained to the toolbox of a white Ford Courier ute parked at Bargara and the wallet and firearms licence was stolen from a Toyota Hilux in Svensson Heights, overnight on Sunday.

The victim checked with his bank and was told his card was used several times, but no money could be withdrawn due to insufficient funds.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800333 000.
