Family of teen killed go to morgue

THE parents, sisters and other family members of NSW teenager Jake Flannery went straight to the Sanglah morgue to view his body after arriving in Bali last night.

Mr Flannery, from Bateau Bay on the central coast, was electrocuted early on Saturday while walking with a group of friends past Joker's Cafe & Grill - also known as Joker's Bar & Grill - in Kuta.

The 18 year old was in Bali celebrating schoolies after graduating from Gosford High.

He died about 3am on Saturday after he stumbled and grabbed on to a neon sign owned by the cafe as he tried to squeeze around a large pile of pavers that had been left on the street.

It had been raining heavily before the accident, which occurred when Mr Flannery was walking down the street with the friends who had travelled to Bali with him for schoolies.
