Extra copies of flooding special
THE NewsMail's special book commemorating the recent flood disaster has almost sold out, just one day after being released.
The 40-page Christmas Floods was free inside yesterday's newspaper, and an extra 1000 copies were available for sale at the price of $2 – with the proceeds going to the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal.
But with only about 200 copies left, News-Mail general manager Wayne Tomkins said he had decided to print an extra 3000 books, which will be available for sale to the public from Thursday.
The books will be sold at the NewsMail office and at newsagents throughout the district.
