Exhibition is an overall success

A FINE selection of art was on offer at Mt Perry Fine Arts gallery for its 96th exhibition.

The exhibition, held at the Pat Augustine Cultural Centre gallery, boasts a collection of oils and acrylics.

Bundaberg’s Overall Artists work was showcased on the night and will continue to be on display.

Mt Perry Fine Arts president Shelley Kelly said it was great to have the work available to local residents.

“This group has been painting together and exchanging ideas about their art for 10 years,” she said.

“In 2001, their first exhibition was held at the Blue Water Club at Burnett Heads with a grand total of 100 paintings.

“It was a huge success with quite a few paintings sold.”

She said this year the group decided to hold the exhibition at Mt Perry with 33 paintings.

The Overall Artists will be on display until November 14.
