Energy saving workshops to be held

TO CELEBRATE World Environment Day, Bunnings Warehouse Bundaberg will run free D.I.Y. Workshops on Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7 in an effort to assist local residents to live more sustainably in the home and garden.

Held on Friday June, 5, World Environment Days is a global initiative that promotes positive environmental actions. Bunnings will be on hand to help Bundaberg residents with free and easy-to-follow D.I.Y. Workshops that will focus on quick and easy tips to help save energy around the home.

Team members from Bunnings Warehouse Bundaberg will run separate craft workshops on June 6 and 7 so kids can get crafty using a range of recycled materials.

Bunnings Warehouse Bundaberg Complex Manager, Michael McLaughlin said team members are pleased to provide local residents with advice on ways they can reduce their household energy bills.

"Making small changes around the home is easy and can make a significant difference to your energy bills", said Michael.
