
Busy day for emergency services
EMERGENCY services had a busy day in Bundaberg yesterday with multiple call outs for road traffic incidents and fires.
At about 1.50pm, Queensland Ambulance Service personnel responded to a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Elliott Heads Rd and McCarthy St in Kepnock.

A QAS spokeswoman said the male rider, aged in his 30s, was taken to Bundaberg Hospital with shoulder and hip injuries.
About 3.40pm, ambulance crews attended the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Walker St in Bundaberg South.
There were no injuries and no one was taken to hospital.

Bingera Weir firefighters were called to a large grass fire at a property on Hills Rd in South Bingera about 1.20pm. Rural firefighters also responded to the call.
At 1.50pm, Bundaberg firefighters attended a car fire on Woods Rd East in Alloway.
There were no injuries and no one was taken to hospital.
