Plane crashes near Archerfield Airport

ONE person has been assessed by paramedics after a plane crashed near Archerfield Airport, south of Brisbane.

Emergency crews were called to the scene about 11.20am but said the patient - the pilot, who was the only person onboard - was being assessed "with no serious injuries noted".

The Queensland Ambulance Service said the crash happened off Beatty Road near Archerfield Airport.
