Elderly woman involved in alleged hit and run

AN ELDERLY woman allegedly drove off after colliding with a motorcycle despite leaving her front bumper and number plate at the scene.

Bundaberg Police Sergeant Mike McLellan said the crash happened on Barolin St about 2.45pm.

The motorbike rider was not injured and police spent the afternoon trying to locate the woman to make sure she was not injured.
