Eidsvold dirt bike adventure

DIRT bike enthusiasts will be in their element this weekend, when the second annual Eidsvold or Bust Adventure Ride roars into gear.

Organiser Trevor Keiler said a huge weekend was in store for the 30 motorbike riders, travelling from the Bundaberg, Maryborough, Biloela, Sunshine Coast and Gympie areas.

"It’s going to be great," he said.

The Eidsvold Showgrounds will be the camping grounds for the riders, with the event officially getting underway tomorrow afternoon at 5pm.

Mr Keiler said riders would head out Cania Dam early Saturday morning and will ride all the way out to Mt Perry via as much dirt road tracks as possible.

"We’ll have a bit of a get-together that night and have a late start on Sunday," he said.

The riders will head out west towards Gayndah on Sunday, with a possible stop off at Paradise Dam.
