Early brekkie at Biggenden markets

THE Lions Club of Biggenden are getting ready to fire up the barbecue tomorrow, for the monthly markets held at the shady Lions Park.

Lions Club volunteer Wynsone Wendt said market stalls selling fruit and vegetables, plants, manchester and jams would be on offer, and the market would go until about noon.

Breakfast will be served from 7am, so market-goers are encouraged to get it while it is hot.

“It’s just a small country market – we do about 60 breakfasts,” Mrs Wendt said.

Try your luck with raffles or the popular Lions lucky envelope stall, with great prizes to be won.

Stall sights are available for $6 and can be booked by calling 4127 1294.
