A dry, hot November

THE Bundaberg region is heading for one of the driest Novembers on record, but it's just a bump in the road on the way to an above-average rainfall summer, according to the experts.

Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Bryan Rolstone said there was little rain on the horizon for the rest of the month.

The best we can hope for was a light shower on Tuesday morning, and again on Wednesday morning.

"Then there will be thundery rain spreading across from the west on Thursday," he said.

Mr Rolstone said the rain would only last about a day.
