
Cops charge two men in lab bust
TWO men will appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court this morning for their involvement in a drug lab which was busted yesterday afternoon.
A 37-year-old man has been charged with one count each of produce a dangerous drug, possess as restricted item, possess relevant substance, possess a dangerous drug and possess utensils.
A 43-year-old man has also been charged with one count each of possess a weapon, produce a dangerous drug, possess relevant substance, possess a dangerous drug and possess utensils.
Bundaberg detectives forcibly entered the Oakwood home through a window at 2.30pm.
All windows and doors had been chained and padlocked.
Police found a number of items used in the production of methylamphetamine, including a 50-litre metal reaction vessel, Sudafed tablets, glassware and chemicals.
Two handguns were also seized from the Bundaberg-Gin Gin Rd home.
A 19-year-old woman was held in custody overnight and was charged with one count each of possess a dangerous drug, possess anything used in the commission of a crime and possess utensils.
She will appear in court on August 1.
