Drinking miscalculation costs Bundy man $400
DARREN Faint was left with a bitter after-taste when his enjoyment of beer led to a drink driving charge.
A Bundaberg court heard when police stopped Faint, 43, for an RBT at 8.45pm on September 27, he blew 0.06.
Prosecutor, Senior Constable Tina Bland said he told officers he drank four cans of heavy bitter followed by two nips of rum in water.
"I just miscalculated. I was going down to pick up my missus from work,” Faint said.
Fined $400, Faint also lost his licence for four weeks.
