'Mindless idiots' the biggest danger on our roads
NONE of us are perfect drivers and I am first to admit I'm not.
But when you are nearly wiped out on a suburban street when doing well under the speed limit through gross incompetence and stupidity of a driver in a near-new car, you wish that something could be done about these mindless idiots who think they are the only car on the road.
This is only one of many incidents I come across in my traverses around town on a weekly basis and I am ever watchful of other cars, but they never fail to surprise me when I least expect it.
I have spent years in other towns and cities across Queensland, learned to drive in another part of the state and agree that drivers in this area are amongst the worst I have come across.

To those drivers, you are not the only person on the road, keep your eyes open, use the rear vision mirror, learn the road rules, be aware of the vehicles around you, use common sense and a bit of common courtesy.
I take pride in my car and don't want it damaged by mindless idiots who are in their own little world when behind the wheel of their lethal weapon.
Let's all do our bit to help the police in trying to reduce the road toll.
