Disco Roberta aims for dogs win

Today’s six-race program will feature the in-form rising star Disco Roberta seeking to make it six wins from six starts at the Thabeban Park venue.

It doesn’t matter if you’re racing at Bundaberg, Broken Hill, Bulli or Bathurst, if you are attempting to win six from six on any track you are above average ability.

There are no doubts Disco Roberta has been favoured by inside draws of late, but four starts back she won from box seven so it appears the box isn’t that important.

Disco Roberta is raced by a syndicate of law enforcement officers hence the owners’ name of Three Little Pigs Syndicate.

If a number of uniforms turn up today it won’t be a raid, it will be the cheer squad.

The dangers appear to be Richo’s Choice and the kennel-mate Charter Boat.

This week’s FFA. for has many chances.

Can Acker Run returns after a month away from the track, but faces stiff opposition.

King Size Lorian is in form, but resuming from a lay-off, Brodies Breed’s form can not be denied and All About Foxy and Oh My Papa have recent winning form.

Race one, the Maiden (460m), is an open affair.

Narelle Mulcahy has runners from boxes one and two and Southern Spirit and Fully Rocked may hold the key to the outcome.

Race two, the Novice (460m), features first start winner Preston All Star and Stud, a winner at his only start on the track, coming together.

Race three, a Fifth Grade (460m), has Maddy’s Queen for drawn in the red box and should win.

Gates open 11am with a bookmaker, totalisator, bar and canteen available.
