Demons set to soar in Bundy show
CRUSTY Demons’ fearless freestyle superstars are bound for Bundaberg and will bring the hare-brained, death-defying antics for which they are renowned.
Salter Oval will be transformed into a battleground, with the world’s best riders roaring into town as part of the Crusty Demons Beyond the Apocalypse Tour.
Riders to watch include X-Games gold medallist Adam Jones, Australian upstart Matt Schubring, Crusty stalwart Seth Enslow and current world number one Blake “Bilko” Williams.
Schubring honed some of his famous moves at a friend’s property in Bundaberg and is looking forward to ripping up Salter Oval for local motocross fans.
“It’s the shows in places like Bundy you remember,” he said.
“It will the Crustys’ first trip there, so we’re anticipating the crowd to go absolutely nuts, which will in turn make us ride faster and harder.”
Schubring said fans would be in for a treat, with Jackson Strong hitting the foam pits to perfect the legendary front flip, the latest innovation in the sport, in time for the performance.
“The front-flip is at the forefront of the sport and it would be the first time it’s been landed on Australian soil,” Schubring said.
Gladstone boy Kane Saul is also set to impress – he will attempt a back flip on a Harley Davidson.
“He first had a go at it about two months ago and is the only known person to have attempted it,” Schubring said.
“If these boys pull it off for the show it will be an absolute sight to behold.”
The Crusty Demons will roar into town on May 15. Schubring urged all local motocross fans to check out the action at Salter Oval.
“The louder the crowd cheers, the better we ride,” he said.
“We want to show everyone a good time and get people up on their feet.
“We can’t wait to get up there.”
