Ashes scare: Warner suffers training injury
DAVID Warner has failed to train today after twinging his neck at the Gabba.
Australia are confident the injury isn't serious, but Warner lasted only two balls in the nets before he exited for further treatment.
Warner twinged his neck during a fielding drill where he was running back taking an overhead catch.
Looking up at the sky is how Warner appeared to do the damage and immediately clutched for his neck.
The Australian vice-captain retreated immediately to the sheds for treatment from physio David Beakley.
Warner later padded up and entered the nets to face throwdowns, but two deliveries in he decided he would not continue.
A further update on Warner's condition is expected shortly.
