TODDLER DEATH: Dad shares heartbreaking photos of son

THEY say a picture can speak a thousand words.

It is certainly the case with a two baby photos of Hunter Young, the three-year-old who died earlier this week from head injuries sustained at Inflatable World.

The Gold Coast toddler was found convulsing at the bottom of one of the inflatable sides about 1pm on Sunday.

He was taken to Toowoomba Hospital and later airlifted to Brisbane's Lady Cilento Children's Hospital where his life support was turned off about noon Monday.

Tributes have been flooding across social media sites all week, with people offering their condolences to the family.

Hunter's dad is yet to say anything publicly about the ordeal but instead has update his Facebook cover photo and profile picture twice over the past two days to photos of Hunter as a baby.

He shared the beautiful photos, letting them do the talking. 

Messages of support have appeared in the comments on the photos with friends, family and strangers offering their thoughts and prayers.

Among the tributes was the kind message, "Such devastating news for you and your family, my heart and thoughts are with you all at this time. RIP wee Hunter."

Another was simple it read, "Rest easy beautiful boy."
