Crews attend bushfire in Moore Park

QUEENSLAND Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are currently at the scene of a bushfire burning in the vicinity of Moore Park Road, Welcome Creek.

The fire broke out around 1am and is reported to be posing no threat to properties at this time.

Firefighters will patrol the blaze throughout today.

Community members in the area may be affected by smoke and are urged to close windows and doors and if suffering from respiratory condition, keep medications close by.

Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.

Residents who are concerned their property is under threat should call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
