Crash traps driver
A MAN was trapped in his car for about half an hour yesterday after his ute collided with a truck.
The 53-year-old man was taken to hospital with a fractured arm and a knee injury after firefighters used the jaws of life to cut him free.
An intensive care paramedic attended the crash, which happened at the corner of Maynard and Maryborough streets about noon.
Firefighters had to remove the roof and door of the vehicle and cut the steering wheel off before the man could be freed.
