Crash in Dayboro claims life of 36-year-old man

A MAN has died following a single vehicle crash in Dayboro early this morning.

Initial information suggests at around 5.55am, a utility was travelling east bound along Dayboro Road, when it crossed to the other lane and collided with an embankment at the intersection of Strong Road.

The 36-year-old driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Dayboro Road was closed for a number of hours as emergency services responded. It is now open to traffic.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
