Court rejects Palmer's Galilee rail fight

CLIVE Palmer's bid for a review of the Queensland Government's decision to reject his company's rail line proposal was thrown out of court this morning.

The government rejected Mr Palmer's Waratah Coal company's bid to build a rail line from the Galilee Basin to Abbot Point Port near Mackay in favour of GVK-Hancock's proposal.

Justice Martin Daubney dismissed Waratah's application and ordered the company pay the government's legal costs.
