Countdown is on for festival

IN less than two days, the Thank You Bundy Region Festival will welcome thousands of the city's residents for a free day of fun, singing and much needed laughter.

The much anticipated Guinness world record attempt for the most people singing to the tune of one song is set to be one of the highlights.

A chorus of 623 voices is needed to break the world record currently held by the Canadians.

Entrants will need to register at the NewsMail tent on Sunday prior to 1pm and will be called to assemble at 2.50pm, with rehearsals starting at three.

The world record attempt will then begin at about 3.30pm - so come and be a part of history in the making.
