CouncillorConnect visits to be held in Gladstone region

DO YOU live in the Mt Larcom, Rosedale or Benaraby areas and have a council-related query you would like to follow up?

With the fire season under way and the cyclone season about to start, you may have a question about disaster management?

If so, the next CouncillorConnect visits will happen tomorrow (October 29) at the Mt Larcom QCWA Hall, Rosedale Memorial Hall and Benaraby Progress Hall.

Gladstone Mayor Gail Sellers said these sessions were valuable for residents and councillors.

"They provide an opportunity to hear about the positive things happening in these areas, but they also give councillors good insight into community needs," Cr Sellers said.

Each visit starts with morning tea and an informal chat session at 9.30am, followed by pre-booked 20 minute individual meetings with councillors from 10.15am to noon.

You can make an individual appointment by phoning council's communications and marketing section on 4970 0700.
