Ready for Cure 4 Cancer Car Rally

THE annual Cure 4 Cancer Car Rally will be held in the Hinkler Central car park on Saturday and, according to founder Brett Taylor, spectators will be impressed.

“Expect to see a few hot rods, street machines, vintage cars and about two or three production motorcycles built by Paul Junior from American Chopper,” Mr Taylor said.

After losing both parents to cancer, Mr Taylor was inspired to make a difference.

In 2006, the Cure 4 Cancer Car Show was born, raising much-needed funds for the Cancer Council.

“Many people have been affected by cancer and by fundraising we hope to get closer to finding a cure,” Mr Taylor said.

For those wanting a sneak preview before the weekend, check out the 1934 Ford Pickup Hot Rod on display at Hinkler Central from today.

Entry forms can also be picked up from centre management.
