MICHAEL Lohan has accused his ex-wife Dina of hatching a plan to put their troubled daughter Lindsay under a conservatorship order.
The 'Machete' star's father claims Dina and Lindsay's business manager Lou Taylor want to obtain a temporary court order which would give them control of the troubled actress' finances and day-to-day life.
He told RadarOnline.com: "I've learned of a plot to put Lindsay under a conservatorship. It's disturbing, the co-conservators would be Dina and Lindsay's business manager, Lou Taylor.
"Lou and Dina are trying to get her out of the picture so they can get a conservatorship without her knowing.
"They would control literally everything Lindsay does, what projects she has coming up, her finances and the people she sees-and that includes keeping me out of her life."
Lindsay - who was sentenced to four weeks in jail on Friday (24.09.10) for violating her probation by failing two drug tests, but was released just hours later - is believed to have checked into an unnamed rehab centre in Southern California yesterday (27.09.10).
Michael believes Dina and Lou will try and launch their conservatorship bid while the 24-year-old star is receiving treatment for drug addiction.
But Michael - who previously stated he wanted to get conservatorship over his daughter - will fight the move if it goes ahead.
He said: "I wanted a conservatorship order for Lindsay so that I could weed out the bad people in her life. I never wanted to get control of her finances.
"The way Dina and Lou want to do it is to get a conservatorship, line up a bunch of projects for Lindsay when she gets out of rehab, make a lot of money off of them so they can control it and make their due."
In 2008, Lou helped put Britney Spears under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears to manage both her personal and business affairs following her public breakdown.
