'Completely isolated': Several rural residents relocating

3pm | A NUMBER of people residing on Lowmead Rd have left their homes and relocated to friends' and neighbours' homes due to rising flood waters in the area.

According to the Lowmead Rural Fire Brigade, the local pub has relocated freezers and fridges to the rural fire shed. Food and storage that has been inundated with water has also been moved.

"No people have chosen to go to the fire shed yet, but it is available if people should choose to go there," the local disaster coordinator said.

The local church is also open to anyone who needs it.
