We wouldn't miss a single year of the show

ROLL UP, roll up!

It's the time of year we all love, when the Bundaberg Show hits town for a few days - and the NewsMail has been there every year to capture the colour, the thrills, the dagwood dogs and the showbags.

It's one of the favourite jobs for our reporters and photographers - getting out there on the ground to bring you everything from the excitement of the rides to the majesty and might of the ring animals and the creativity of the cakes in the pavilion.

We've also spent time talking to the people behind the big event, whether it's the members of the show society who make sure it goes smoothly, the travelling "showies" whose lifestyle allows us to enjoy the colour and noise, or the travelling school that makes sure those families can continue as normal a life as possible while they're on the road.

The NewsMail has been there through all the big breaking and community stories, and we're celebrating that in a 12-part online series called We Were There.

If you want to share your favourite show memories, go to http://www.news-mail.com.au/Your-Story.
