Clubs add magic to kids’ lives

THE Christmas season has officially rolled in and that calls for the annual Bundy Rumble Toy Run to roll out.

The Bundaberg Early Holden Club began the endeavour last year, which gathers Christmas toys and funds for Camp Quality kids.

Club secretary Veronica Kirby is thrilled the event is happening again this year.

“It is our way of making Christmas brighter for these kids,” she said.

The run will begin at 1pm at Alexandra Park when about 50 cars will gather.

They will depart at 1.30pm on Saturday and visit Bargara, Innes Park and Coral Cove and end with an afternoon tea at Elliott Heads.

Mrs Kirby said although collecting toys for the Camp Quality children was wonderful, the best part was bringing some of the kids along on the trip.

“The look on the faces of the kids that come in the cars is just magic,” she said.
