Clinton said Saudis backing IS

WHEN Hillary Clinton was US Secretary of State she identified Saudi Arabia and Qatar as "clandestine”, "financial and logistic” supporters of Islamic State, according to an email leaked by Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. It is one of 2000 messages in a second batch of leaked emails allegedly between Mrs Clinton and her 2016 campaign manager John Podesta. Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been helping the US combat IS and deny arming it. However, Mrs Clinton reportedly wrote of the need to pressure the two countries.
