CBA gives community gifts

BUNDABERG'S BushKids Centre has received a helping hand from the Commonwealth Bank to mark the bank's 100th birthday.

Bundaberg Commonwealth Bank Branch manager David Baxter said the project was about giving a gift to help improve the health and well-being of local communities

"This is a fantastic initiative that has enabled us to make a difference to our local community," he said.

BushKids general manager Carlton Meyn said the not-for-profit organisation would use the donation to purchase special purpose height-adjustable tables, books and puzzles.

BushKids offers a range of free health services to children and families, with children aged up to 13 years who display behavioural, emotional, social or developmental difficulties.
