Car smashes into Queensland lounge room

A CAR has ploughed into a family home south of Brisbane on Tuesday afternoon.

The driver of a blue Holden commodore crashed into the corner of a lounge room of a house on Lyrebird St, Loganlea at 4.20pm.

Police allege the driver then left the scene but was found a short time later and taken to Logan Hospital with minor injuries.

Investigations are continuing.
