Four survive serious crash

FOUR fruit pickers had a lucky escape when their car rolled on Goodwood Road just after 12.30pm yesterday.

The car veered off the road and rolled about 20m before coming to rest on its roof when it hit a fence.

Workers from a nearby farm and passing motorists rushed to help out. All occupants were out of the car when emergency crews arrived.

The Queensland Ambulance Service took all four victims to the Bundaberg Hospital where one was treated for serious injuries.

Bundaberg Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
