Car park built on time

THE completion of the new 130-space car park at Bundaberg Hospital is set to be finished on time at the end of February.

Wide Bay Health Service District operational executive Luke Worth said wet weather in December had not delayed construction of the car park.

"The wet weather occurred over the Christmas break, when the construction industry traditionally slows down its work," he said.

"The project remains on track for its target completion date in February."

The NewsMail understands construction on the car park is scheduled to start up again early next week.

The car park, which was announced by Health Minister Geoff Wilson, is being built on grounds previously used by the pony club.
