Can you sing, dance or tell a joke?

CCQ is calling on all aspiring superstars - it's time to show Bundaberg what you've got - and it's all in the name of a good cause.

Cancer Council Queensland is on the look-out for some serious star factor to help in the fight against cancer, by inviting locals to audition for Bundaberg Relay For Life's C-Factor.

The search for the next big thing has already begun, with remaining heats set to be Thursday July 16 from 6.30pm, Saturday July 18 from 10am, Thursday July 23 from 6.30pm and Saturday July 25 from 10am, all at Hinkler Central.

The competition is open to anyone who can sing, dance, tell a great joke or has some kind of hidden talent!

Finalists will compete at C-Factor's knock out semi-final on August 15 at Hinkler Central and the show stopping grand-final at Bundaberg Relay For Life on August 15 at Bundaberg Recreational Precinct.

The lucky winner will earn themselves a $1000 Hinkler Central shopping voucher.

Cancer Council Queensland Relay For Life co-ordinator Angela Childs encouraged locals to get behind the inspirational event and help in the fight against cancer.

"We're calling on all locals to sign up to 'C-Factor' - we know how many talented people there are in Bundaberg with something worth sharing," Ms Childs said.

"2015 will mark the second year of Bundaberg Relay For Life's 'C-Factor' and we're excited to kick things off with some exciting new talent!

"Getting involved is a great way to show your support for the event, and the one in two Queenslanders who will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime."

Prostate cancer survivor and former X-Factor contestant Justin Standley will be teaming up with Cancer Council Queensland again this year to judge the C-Factor semi-final and grand-final.
