Busking champions hold workshops

RESIDENTS under 25 can learn from some of Australia’s finest when The Twine, the 2009 Australian Busking Champions and semi-finalists on Australia’s Got Talent, conduct development workshops in the region.

Four interactive workshops based on music and performance will be held over Wednesday, September 29 and Thursday, September 30 at Bundaberg Civic Centre.

Bundaberg Regional Council’s Community and Arts spokesperson Councillor Judy Peters said the workshops would be invaluable.

“This is a great opportunity for any budding entertainer to build and strengthen their act, no matter what it is, with encouragement and enthusiasm and to also receive some expert advice and technique development,” Cr Peters said.
