Bushcare given helping hand
ISIS Bushcare has recently been able to upgrade their computer systems thanks to generous donations from the Buffalo Lodge.
This month, several of the Isis Bushcare group met with John Buckingham of the Buffalo Lodge who was proud to announce they had provided funds in excess of that requested.
On accepting the donation, Isis Bushcare vice president Geoff Baldwin thanked the Buffalo Lodge for their support, adding the group appreciated the help, which would keep them working out in the bush.
A computer will be used for research and plant identification to help on various projects.
Primarily, Isis Bushcare is working to protect Helms Scrub, which involves weed control and replanting to help preserve some of the original Isis Scrub.
The Burnett Mary Regional Group has also financially supported Isis Bushcare in obtaining the computer package and a reference library.
