BundyBusk comp set for October

RESIDENTS can show Bundaberg what they have on Saturday, October 2.

People under 25 years are encouraged to take part in the second annual Ergon Energy BundyBusk competition.

First prize in each division is $300 in cash. A total of $1000 is again up for grabs.

If you can juggle, dance, sing, paint, draw, recite poetry, play an instrument or have a special talent that can entertain you’re in with a shot.

The community will judge the competition and there will be prizes to be won for voters.

All entrants must book by Friday, October 1, at the School of Arts Building at Bourbong Street, as busking sites will be limited.

Residents are urged to join in the competition’s excitement and vote.

Council’s Community and Arts spokesperson Judy Peters said it was a great event.

For further information contact Andrea at the Bundaberg Regional Council on 4130 4175 or 0429 915 602.
