BUNDY VOTES 2016: Wayne Honor set to return to Division 3

UPDATE: 9.39PM: Cr Wayne Honor looking good to return to council.

Cr Honor said it was a privilege to serve his community for the last 12 years and although he said he wouldn't get a head of himself until the Electoral Commission Queensland declared it he was humbled by the results tonight.

"We're very confident and as the votes continue we believe they will bring good results," Cr Honor said.

"It is looking very good and its great for myself, my wife and all my supporters."

Cr Honor said the privilege was that he believed he served the best country community in the world and looked forward to what the next four years would bring. 

 

UPDATE 8.45PM: Wayne Honor leading Division 3 with 67.09% after the four booths of 14 have been counted.

Paul Bongioletti is at 32.91%.

 

UPDATE 7.55PM: The second booth from Division 3 has been counted with Wayne Honor leading the way at 60.53%

Paul Bongioletti follows on 39.47%
