Bundy to prove it has the C-Factor
THE Bundaberg Relay For Life C-Factor talent show is drawing to a close with contestants competing in the final showdown this Thursday, August 14, from 7pm at Sugarland Shoppingtown.
C-Factor, which follows a similar format to X-Factor, has seen local talent audition and compete in categorised heats over the past three months - with the final three set to perform at Cancer Council Queensland's Bundaberg Relay For Life on August 16-17.
Prostate cancer survivor and former X-Factor contestant Justin Standley teamed up with Bundaberg Relay For Life earlier this year to host the talent show, and is on the judging panel.
Bundaberg Relay For Life Committee Chairperson Gregory Bath congratulated the community on embracing C-Factor, and showing their support.
"We've had many talented locals show us what they've got - including singers and dancers," Dr Bath said.
"After three months of auditions and heats we are down to the final group, who will perform to judges on Thursday.
"The three best performers will then go on to perform at Relay in front of a crowd of more than 1200 locals."
C-Factor has encouraged the local community to get involved in Relay For Life, raising funds for locals impacted by cancer.
