Bundy bodies the model of perfection

TWO beaut Bundy bodies have blown away judges, with model Jerusha Tuart taking out the Gold Coast 600 V8 Supermodel Search and muscle man Chris Watton placing third in the Natural Universe bodybuilding competition.

Miss Tuart arrived in Bundaberg recently to spend time with her family, but relaxation quickly turned into regular sessions with a personal trainer when she was invited to take part in the model search.

With only a few weeks of preparation, the 27-year-old beauty, who works as a model in Miami, proved too good for the 15 contestants in the model search.

"They were from all over Australia, like Darwin and Melbourne," Miss Tuart said.

"I think there were some Bundaberg people in the crowd because I kept hearing people yelling out, 'go Bundy'."

Miss Tuart was not the only weekend success, with North Bundaberg High School teacher Mr Watton taking out third place in the over-50s category in the bodybuilding competition in Brisbane.

"This is the first time it has been held out of America and there were over 240 competitors," Mr Watton said.

The 52-year-old said plenty of preparation went into his award-winning physique.

"I go to the gym five to six days a week for about one-and-a-half to two hours," he said.

"That's the easy part, though. The difficult part is the dieting."

Mr Watton said the event was a great way to meet new people who shared the same love for eating healthy and staying active.
