THOSE with a flair for hair were put in the spotlight when we asked Facebook users who their favourite hairdressers were in the Wide Bay.

More than 550 readers responded to the post on Thursday, giving a big thumbs up to their top salon picks.

Dominque Tanner nominated Signatures Hair Studio for their fantastic knowledge of sew in weaves, afro braids, twists and hair care from all textures of afro hair and more.

Lush Hair was voted by Chantal Bush, who said she drives six hours to Bundaberg to get her hair done from the fantastic team.

The salon that proved to be most popular amongst Facebook users was The Place Hairdressing on Bourbong St.
Owner Kira-Lee Honor is thrilled to be one of the Wide Bay's favourite hairdressers.

"I'm ecstatic. It is so exciting to know people love coming to us," she said.
