Teen faces court after slur

A TEEN who abused police for almost an hour after they shut down a house party fronted Bundaberg Magistrates Court yesterday.

Ian William Balalas, 17, of West Bundaberg, pleaded guilty to public nuisance from offences on August 14 at Elliott Heads.

Police said the teen yelled obscenities and racial slurs for about 45 minutes before they arrested him.

Magistrate Neil Lavaring placed Balalas on a $300 good behaviour bond for 12 months and warned him to stay out of trouble.
