Bundaberg stories make best seller

HUNDREDS of copies of Bundaberg in Print: 110 Years of News have already walked out the NewsMail doors since the publication went on sale on Wednesday.

Anne Pedersen was quick to snap up her two pre-ordered copies.

“I ordered mine weeks ago,” she said.

“I just want to go back in the years and read and remember and reminisce.”

Mrs Pedersen had trouble keeping her eyes from browsing the book when she was speaking to the NewsMail.

“I will read it cover-to-cover tonight, if not sooner,” she said.

“I will take it to show my son in Hong Kong when I go for a visit next week.”

Front counter supervisor Lisa Trudgeon said the response had been great.

“Wednesday was phenomenal,” she said.

“We had people lined up to the door. I have people who ordered one coming back to get three or four more.”

To purchase your copy for just $12.50, telephone the NewsMail on 4153 8566 or drop into the office on Targo Street.
