Alleged brawl just a teen crowd

ABOUT 100 teenagers allegedly caused a disturbance on the rooftop car park of Hinkler Central Shopping Centre about 8.30pm on Thursday.

Acting Inspector Joe Hildred said police were called about the alleged incident.

“Upon attending the location, police found a large gathering of youth on the rooftop car park and within the vicinity of that area. The youth encountered were not committing any offences at this time,” he said.

Acting Insp. Hildred said police believed a fight may have broken out among a small number of the teenagers in the car park.

“No further action was taken at that time and the crowd of youth were dispersed without further incident,” he said.
